![]() One other odd thing is that iDrac is not alerting me of any problems. I have not found similar commands for CatOS or PIX OS yet. Enabling these commands will help banks comply with regulations and their own policies as well as improve the security of their Cisco IOS devices. I see that battery pack needs to be replaced but is this error the cause of the "needs attention" controller status or could that be related to something else? What can I do to find out what that status is related to? As of IOS 12.3(1), Cisco introduced support for enforcing a minimum number of password characters and sending a syslog message after a specified number of failed login attempts. ProductName : PERC H700 Integrated(Bus 0, Dev 0) I'm also seeing a controller status indicating "needs attention" and I'm not sure exactly what that is referring to: System I'm going to be looking at updating that when I can. ![]() First I notice that both h700's have very old firmware versions. I have the exact same problem on two servers, and the intel enterprise SSDs are only a couple months old (I highly doubt the issue is drive related, I'm thinking controller or something else). Sometimes file operations like deleting directories or rsyncing with link-dst option for example hang for a long time but eventually complete and other times when the exact same operation runs it completes in a matter of seconds. I've been having a few odd i/o related issues that I've been trying to track down, although all SMART and other diagnostics look fine. Each of them have two intel enterprise SSDs in raid 1 config. I have two R710 servers with Perc H700 integrated raid controllers in them.
